2. Plant source
Piper methysticum Forst (Piper methysticum Forst) is a perennial standing shrub of the Piperaceae family. It is native to the islands of the South Pacific. Its dry roots and rhizomes can be used as medicine. The effective part is the fat-soluble resin part. The main medicinal ingredients of kava are kava lactone, naphthene, drunken pepper and so on. Kava has long been a widely used medicinal ingredient in European and American countries, and it has also been widely used as a food supplement. Cosmetics mainly use dried rhizomes as raw materials.

5. Uses & Dosage

Applicable dosage form:
Facial cleansers, toners, essences, lotions, creams, gels, eye creams, etc.

Recommended dose: 0.1-1%

Preparation:

Add the components of phase A into the oil phase pot, heat to 70-85°C, stir to dissolve completely;
Add the components of phase B into the emulsifying pot, heat to 70-85°C, stir and dissolve completely;
Pump each component of phase A into the emulsifying pot, homogenize and emulsify together with each component of phase B, and keep warm;
Stir and cool down to 30-40°C, add the components of phase C into the emulsifying pot, stir evenly, pass the inspection, and discharge the material.
